Printed fabric over stretcher with vintage Gibson “Melody Maker” electric guitar, a fine example of this rare multiple “furniture sculpture”, incised with the signature, numbering and date on the upper part of the neck of the guitar, verso, also signed, dated and numbered on overlap of the canvas, from the edition of only 12 (there were no artist proofs) fabricated by the artist and published by John Gibson Editions, New York, a few losses on the lower edge of the guitar, verso, otherwise in very fine condition.
