Three color metal-relief print, a fine, fresh impression of what may be considered the second and final state, the full sheet, printed on hand-made cream white Okawara paper, with margins, signed, dated, titled and numbered in pencil by the artist, executed in an edition of 120 examples (there were also 20 numbered artist proofs, 14 numbered HC proofs and at least 2 known Trial Proof impressions inscribed “TP”) printed by Joe Wilfer, New York, published by the Madison Print Club, Wisconsin, in fine condition, unframed.

“There is the association between light bulbs and ideas — Light Bulb is deliberately misshapen and was made to be nipple-like and heavy. Light Bulb is about the awkwardness and difficulty of ideas and the surprising weight of the smallest undertaking.”
