John Tremblay’s “Bright Surroundings” at The Grolier Club

Bright Surroundings, the first editioned print by John Tremblay, will be exhibited in the group exhibition “Hot Off the Press: Prints of 2006 from New York Printshops” at the Grolier Club in New York.

According to the Curator’s Statement:

” ‘Hot Off the Press’ features distinguished prints released during the past year by fifty-four artists workin in over twenty prinshops in New York.  Brought together in the gallery of the Grolier Club, the exhibit offers an opportunity to see a sampling of the amazing results of the collaboration of artists with master printers who have inspired and challenged them.  The exhibition also surveys current printmaking and the span of style and subject matter that characterizes its diversity at this moment, from the more traditional to cutting-edge work.”

Bright Surroundings  was printed by Luther Davis of Axelle Editions, Brooklyn, New York and published by World House Editions
